Curl Prep for Best Results
For the best results during your appointment, it’s important to begin to detox your hair a minimum of 4 weeks prior to your visit of any raw oils, butters, food, clay, and anything else that isn’t meant for hair. Be sure to follow the prep instructions below.

1. Cleanse
Every great hairstyle starts with cleansing. Use an all-purpose shampoo such as AG Balance at least once a week.

3. Style
Style your wash & go with a botanically based-gel such as Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic. Allow to dry under a hard-hooded dryer or using a blow dryer with a diffuser attachment.

4. Repeat
Consistency is key! Each wash hour gets better so stick with it!!
On the day of your appointment please arrive styled in your best wash & go, detangled, having cleansed, conditioned, and styled sometime within the previous 5 days.

Gratuity
We are a no-tipping salon. Gratuity has already been factored into the cost of the service.
Consider writing a review, sharing with your family & friends, or purchasing a gift certificate if you’d like to show your appreciation!

Covid Policy
All curlies are required to be fully vaccinated and wearing a mask that rests around the ears for the duration of the appointment. This policy will remain even as Covid precautions are being lifted.

Payment
Payment is due in full at time of booking your appointment.
No exceptions.

Refunds
There are no refunds on payments for services received in salon. If you are unsatisfied with your service please notify us within 5 days so we can find a solution to achieve your specific needs.
What else do I need to know?

Prepping is highly encouraged.
It often seems like the work we stylists do in salon is like magic, but the reality is that we can only do our best with what you bring into our salon. Haircare is a marathon with the majority of it done at home.

The haircut is an integral part of the service. Consistent cuts are key to maintaining hair that looks full and healthy. Haircuts are a requirement of the service. Your cut will be custom designed for you during your in-depth consultation. Rest assured that not a single curl is cut until you agree with the plan we create together!

Your appointment will be canceled & marked as a no-show after 15 minutes. Please try to inform us if you are running late the soonest it is safe to do so.

You may reschedule anytime prior to 48hrs before your appointment.
Any changes needed to be made within the 48hr window will be considered a canceled appointment and will need to be rebooked for a future date. In this case, the service fee is non-transferrable.

We are not accepting children age 17 or younger at this time.
